This book is really good. It covers most of the issues one can encounter in managing and programming for a mod_perl-based web-server. It gives many tips, tricks and guidelines and is very encompassing.
Despite its length, this book kept me captivated most of the time and I highly enjoyed reading it. The only thing that disappointed me was that there wasn't a detailed guide to the mod_perl API. Perhaps it is covered in other books, and not in the scope of this book.
All in all - highly recommended. You can read it online on its home-site.
